Best Time to Visit Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres has warm weather all year round so there really isn’t a bad time to visit.

However, the dry season runs from December–April so there will be less humidity during this time but it will still warm enough for swimming and sunbathing.

However, this is also considered high season so there will be more crowds, and hotels will have higher prices during this time of year.

I would recommend visiting on the shoulder months of high season (March/April or October/November) for fewer crowds but still pleasant weather.

Additionally, rain season runs from June to October, where chances of rain will be higher. However, this isn’t necessarily a bad to visit as there will still be plenty of sun and storms tend to pass quickly.

How to Get to Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is located just off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. The closest international airport to the island is Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Once you land in Cancun, you’ll need to book ground transportation from the Cancun Airport to the ferry terminal, which is about 20 minutes away.
